Copy the Personal Information to a New Account Using TrueSwitch

The easiest way to copy your personal information to your new Internet account is to download and run the TrueSwitch Wizard on your computer and select the Express Switching option. The software will then attempt to copy all your personal data, such as Address Book, Calendar, Favorites, and Stored E-mail from your old account to your new account. Any information stored on your local computer is copied immediately. Information stored on the Website of your old Internet Service Provider is copied by TrueSwitch's computer into your new account. This usually takes less than an hour, but can take up to 24 hours. If you prefer not to copy your personal information, or to choose which personal data to copy, choose the Custom Switching option when using the software. If you are switching multiple Internet accounts (for example, child accounts on the Netscape® service), run the TrueSwitch Wizard again for each account.

Find Personal Data In the New Account Using TrueSwitch

Once you have successfully run the TrueSwitch Wizard, your personal information stored on your computer is copied to the new Netscape® account. If you have additional personal information stored at the Website of your old ISP, it can take up to 24 hours for this information to be copied to your new Internet account. You will receive a message through the TrueAssistant Message Center after this information has been copied. You can find your personal data in Address Book, Favorites, Stored E-mails, and Forwarded E-Mails after you have used TrueSwitch to switch to your Netscape® account.

E-mails From TrueSwitch - A e-mail will be sent to you from TrueSwitch after confirming your TrueSwitch Internet account switching request and status updates. These mails will be in your Inbox folder in Netscape which can be accessed by clicking the My E-mail button on the Home Page.
Stored E-mails - If you choose Copy Stored E-mails (which is enabled by default in the Express Switching option), all your saved mails along with all your sub-folders will be in the filing cabinet which can be accessed by clicking the My E-Mail button, then selecting Folders.
Forwarded E-mails - If you select E-mail Forwarding (which is enabled by default in the Express Switching option), any e-mail which was sent to your old Internet e-mail address will be forwarded by TrueSwitch to your new Netscape® e-mail address. These can be accessed by clicking the My E-mail button.
Address Book (Contacts) - If you select Copy Address Book (which is enabled by default in the Express Switching option), your address book with all your contacts and information, such as postal address, phone/fax/work numbers, personal information will be in your Netscape® address book which can be accessed by clicking the My E-mail button on the Netscape® home page, then clicking the Addresses link.
Favorites - Your migrated favorites or bookmarks can be accessed by clicking Favorites on the Netscape® toolbar.

Note: The information provided assumes that you have Netscape® software installed on your PC you are using to access your Netscape account, and you must have logged into your new Netscape account. Please be aware, not all your information may transfer to the Netscape account, depending on the old ISP you are transferring from.
